Just for fun: Musical ecosystem

Ryan Alexander, Gabriel Dunne and Daniel Massey have created a musical ecosystem in a petri dish called 'Seaquence'.

As the authors say about their alpha release:

Adopting a biological metaphor, Seaquence allows you to create and combine musical lifeforms into unique, dynamic compositions.
